Malvern Minerals Announces New CEO
Hot Springs, Arkansas – Malvern Minerals, an excavator, processor, and supplier of white silica powder to the coatings industry, is pleased to announce Tony McAnly has joined the corporation as Chairman and CEO.
Tony was retained by Malvern Minerals in March, 2006 to review the company’s operations and management and develop a strategic business plan for improving production reliability and enhancing customer satisfaction. This plan has guided personnel replacements and capital investments during 2006.
Malvern Minerals Board of Directors has been pleased with the improvements in management processes and the noticeable improvement in production reliability seen to date. To continue the improvement trend, the Board of Directors requested Tony join the corporation to provide continued leadership executing the strategic plan, help further develop management processes and personnel, and improve customer relationships.
Tony brings 25 years technical and executive leadership experience to Malvern Minerals. His experience includes leadership positions of increasing responsibility for two Fortune 100 companies: GE and Lockheed Martin, as well as the founding, developing, and sale of Airborne Nacelle Services, an independent FAA Repair Station; the acquisition of Aerocell Structures, an FAA Repair Station; and leading the turnaround of Aerospace Technologies, an aviation component manufacturing company.
