Hot Springs, Arkansas – Malvern Minerals, a producer of microcrystalline silica flour for the coatings industry, successfully implemented a reliability improvement program during 2006 and 2007. These improvements to the production, maintenance, and inventory systems have resulted in 98% of all orders shipping on or before published lead times for the second year in a row.
Brad Smith, COO, commented, “We are very pleased with Malvern Minerals reliability performance during 2007 and 2008. Back to back years of excellent shipment reliability further increases our customers’ confidence in our ability to deliver what they need when they need it.”
